So once upon a time I promised people mixes based on a topic of their choosing. Shortly after doing so, my harddrive gave up the ghost, and since then I've been limping along with a machine that could barely run multiple tabs on a browser let alone let me rip Mp3s, or edit images so I could make lovely album covers.

Well, I got my "new" computer (the beautiful thing about living in a tech savvy town, is people upgrade frequently, and you can get remarkable things on craigslist) and am in the process of recovering all my notes. So I still plan on making you mixes. It might be a little while, I need the learning curve of transitioning from being a mostly PC user to relearning a Mac keyboard, but I'll be getting things together soon.

And anyone who missed the first round and wants to get in on it now, or did ask previously, and forgot and wants something else, drop me a comment.

I've never been great at icons, but I was getting better, and then things went poof, so I'll probably have to start from scratch to relearn, since now I'll be on a very different version of the software.

The theme for your mix was "Things can only get better" I had 3 songs picked out so far.

I've never actually owned my own computer (excluding my phone) so this is pretty momentous for me.

I had a joke back in school with some friends that you qualified as an adult when you had a computer, a cell phone, and a car (because the three of us combined= one adult). I can now say IN BEFORE 40!

Welcome to adulthood! Yeah, that sounds like an appropriate subject for a mix, still. My life.
