Aug. 5th, 2007 12:41 amI live with an insane coder. When we had our own website, he built his own content delivery system, he made his own version of IM, he did an html version of Pong.
Anyway. He's agreed to build Anarchyjournal. Since I know he's good at the crazy, the two things I'm going to ask him to add to the code, is an archive system, so that there is a button at the bottom of the entry window that will let you label your entry and add it to a general archive, there-by allowing for easily searchable fic by fandom and author. I'll see how user friendly it can me made, or if it can reasonably be done at all.
The second relates to that in a way, a built in version of something like lj seek.
Oh, and possibly bulit in ways to import your old blog, and ljlogin.
He'll probably hate me, and I'm sure these things won't happen until the site's been up for at least several months, but a girl can scheme can't she?
Now to find a server, bandwidth and how much it will cost me to come up with a holding company, so that me and 'dog are not personally responsible for any of this.
